TimkenSteel and United Steelworkers Local 1123 to Begin Contract Discussions on Aug. 21


CANTON, Ohio: August 14, 2017 — TimkenSteel (NYSE: TMST) ( and the United Steelworkers will begin discussions on August 21 regarding the current labor agreement that is set to expire on September 25. The current agreement covers approximately 1,650 bargaining employees at the company’s Canton, Ohio operations.

“TimkenSteel is committed to reaching an agreement that is fair and equitable to both the company and union prior to the expiration of the current contract,” said Bill Bryan, executive vice president of manufacturing & supply chain.
